Matt
Ward is a resident fisheries biologist. A native of Dallas,
Texas Matt began his pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Biology,
at Texas A&M University, after spending 6 years with his
family in Chad, Africa. Following completion of his degree Matt
went on to pursue a Master of Science in Biochemistry also from
Texas A&M University. During this time Matt worked in a
laboratory studying molecular biology for three years when he
decided the call of the Texas outdoors was just too strong to
resist. He now works with our team providing new perspectives
on fisheries management. An avid fisherman, Matt enjoys pursuing
virtually any species of fish from fresh to saltwater whether
it be with a 5wt fly rod or a 12ft long surf rod. His love for
the outdoors drives him as he works toward fisheries management
goals.
